MULTI-SECTORAL RESEARCH INNOVATION AND PRACTICE

‘Multi-sectoral Research and Innovation and Practice Platform’ Project, supported by T.R. Ministry of Development and ISTKA (Istanbul Development Agency) and started with the academic studies of Doğuş University on 01.09.2015, hosts interesting studies. In the Project, also supported by BİLSAN, ballistic-resistant glass which doesn’t prevent angle of sight, nano-coating materials and isolation technologies are developed.

WHAT IS ON THE AGENDA?

Of course, nanotechnology! As the golden concept that will create the perfect products of the future, nanotechnology is also used in Bilsan’s products and the production of security cabins. But we want to achieve more, so we work harder. Within the framework of ‘Multi-sectoral Research and Innovation and Practice Platform’ by Ministry of Development and Doğuş University, we support the studies of a special coating material developed with nanotechnology. This nanotechnologic coating material is totally created with domestic wealth and it has the feature of pushing solid and liquid materials like water and paint over it by not letting the materials stay on it.

WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF IT?

SMART NANO-COATING

Preventing solid and liquid materials’ sticking on the material will decrease the dirtiness level of the material so this is a great advantage for the cleanliness of a product. As the level of dirtiness decreases in the products, the sources used for cleaning will be less in the same manner. Besides, the decrease in dirtiness will affect the lifetime of the aforesaid product or object in a positive way. That is where Bilsan’s strength comes from. But we never say “enough”, we always try hard for the projects that will bring us forward.
